Day 1: Arrival from Masai Mara. FLY TO KIHIHI, DRIVE TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST

Today you will arrive at Entebbe airport with Air Kenya flight from Masai Mara. You will be received by our representatives at the airport who will assist you to clear with emigration formalities. Afterwards, check in for your flight to Kihihi airstrip where you shall be received by your safari guide.  The flight departs from Entebbe at midday and arrives in Kihihi at 14:40hr. You will drive through the beautiful Ugandan countryside to the ancient rainforests of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. On the way to the mountainous south-western region of Uganda, you will drive through terraced hillsides dotted with traditional settlements. Expect to arrive at our picturesque accommodation on the edge of the forest in time for lunch. The park is home to the endangered mountain Gorillas.

Day 2: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI

Begin your gorilla trek in the early morning, and set off into the forests with guides and trackers who are very experienced at locating the gorillas. The search for these majestic animals goes through thick untamed rainforest. Watching gorillas in their natural habitat is a memory that will last a lifetime. The experienced ranger guides will willingly share with you a lot of information about history and lifestyle of the Gorillas. After spending an hour with the gorillas we head back to the lodge and relax. In the evening, take a community tour in Buhoma where you will visit the Batwa community, a farm and local beer brewers.

Day 3: FLIGHT TO ENTEBBE AND DEPARTURE

After breakfast you will be transferred to Kihihi airstrip to catch your flight back to Entebbe airport. The flight departs from Kihihi at 09:45hr and arrives in Entebbe at 11:25hr. In Entebbe you check in for your departure flight back home.
