Day 1: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

At 7 am you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel. You will have a stopover at the equator crossing. This is an imaginary line that divides the earth into 2 hemispheres: north and south. There is a big sign where you will be able to take a photo saying you are now crossing the equator then proceed with the journey and arrive in time for lunch. In the evening you will depart for a game viewing drive in the conservancy. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting.

Day 2: Full day game drive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Spend the full day exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Olpe Jeta is a privately owned conservancy, overlooking the peaks of Mount Kenya. The conservancy has a great number of wildlife including all the big five animals (elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, and buffalo) among other game. The conservancy also has a special sanctuary that shelters several the rare and endangered species including black rhino, Gravy’s zebra, the Jackson’s hartebeest, and Chimpanzees. The Chimpanzee sanctuary is the only one in Kenya. It is a home for orphaned and abused chimpanzees, rehabilitating them to help them learn to live by themselves as in their own habitat. Later have dinner and overnight at the camp/ lodge.

Day 3: Olpe Jeta Conservancy to Lake Nakuru Park

Early morning breakfast and thereafter check out and proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park where you expect to see the endangered species of the white rhino, Ros child giraffe, flamingos.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru To Maasai Mara Reserve

Early morning breakfast. En route Maasai Mara Reserve. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch after you check in. Later at 4:00pm depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve which lasts till 6:00pm. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the wonder of the world.

Day 5: Full day Maasai Mara

Early breakfast at 6am and at 6:30 am,Depart for a full day game viewing in Maasai Mara National Reserve. This is the most important day since we are hoping to see the big five, especially the big cats which are extremely illusive. Arrive at the world-famous Mara River, the iconic site of the annual Great Migration. Learn how millions of wildebeests and zebras brave these waters every year as they move from the Serengeti in search of fresh pasture.

Alight from your vehicle for a thrilling, safe guided walk along the riverbanks accompanied by armed park rangers ( recommended tip of $ 5 for the ranger). Get a close-up look at massive Nile crocodiles basking in the sun and large families of hippos submerged in the pools. Your guide will select a scenic, safe spot under a classic African acacia tree. Enjoy your packed lunch boxes out in the open, taking in the breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the Maasai Mara landscapes. Drive to the official, marker-stone border point where Kenya’s Maasai Mara meets Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Snap some memorable photos standing with one foot in each country.

Day 6: Maasai Mara To Lake Elementaita

After breakfast, check out with an optional visit at the Maasai village at an extra cost.

Afternoon to evening you can have a guided trek along the shores of lake Elementaita to the hot springs where we take a shower as the water is believed to have a healing effect on skin. You can also get a chance to take photos of the migratory birds starting from the Lesser and greater flamingoes, Great white pelicans among many migratory birds. Day 7: Lake Elementaita to Nairobi

After breakfast you can again visit the shores of lake Elementaita for the morning pictures of migratory birds and later start your journey back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, drop off at your hotel/Airport. End of safari.
