DAY TOUR TO CRESCENT ISLAND AND RAPTOR CENTRE

Pick up at your hotel at 8am, commence drive to Naivasha with a brief stopover at the Great rift valley view point.

Proceed to Lake Naivasha, upon arrival go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing and crescent Island Sanctuary for a unique walk with wildlife. The sanctuary is home for giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, impalas and hippos among other wildlife one is likely to find at the conservancy. Birds include the fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters and many more.

You will have a lunch break for a complimentary lunch at a local restaurant for an a-la-carte meal plan.

Later, go to Naivasha Raptor Centre for an hour tour that starts at 3pm, a local guide will take you for a guided tour around the sanctuary which is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating birds of prey. Learn about eagles, owls, falcons, and hawks, and gain insights into Kenya’s raptor conservation efforts from your knowledgeable guide.

You will then start your drive back to Nairobi at around 4pm, Upon arrival you will be dropped off at your hotel /airport. End of tour.
