This is an excursion focusing on bird life, walking safari on Crescent Island, adventure activities, boat excursion, biking and hiking and small game viewing.
Hell’s gate is one of the world’s park where you can walk and ride bicycle while watching animals. While in lake Naivasha boat ride our captain will explain to you different bird species and you will see hippos. Get up close with wildlife and be on the lookout for the park’s amazing species.
Morning pick-up at 7.00 am from your Nairobi area hotel or residence and commence the drive to Hell’s Gate National Park with stops at the scenic Rift valley viewpoint.
Arrive at around 9 am and start of the biking tour for 2 hours. Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya’s smaller national parks, which can be explored on foot. This is followed by a bicycle ride amid gracefully grazing gazelles, larger antelopes, Zebras and Giraffe is a delightful experience.
Drive to Buffalo Place Naivasha for lunch at 1 pm (own expenses)
At 2 pm, take a boat-ride to crescent Island Sanctuary for a unique walk with wildlife. The sanctuary is home for giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, impalas and hippos among other wildlife one is likely to find at the conservancy. Birds include the fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters and many more
Later at 5 pm, depart for Nairobi. You will be dropped off at you hotel/ area of residence/ airport.
