GROUP TOUR TO NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK, ELEPHANT PROJECT AND GIRAFFE CENTER

The tour starts from Kencom, opposite International Life House in Nairobi city centre, at 6:00am,  you will go to the Nairobi National park through the main gate for a 3 hour game drive. Your guide will be aiming to show you as much variety of animals as possible. If you’re lucky, you may spot the rhinos and lions.

Then head to the elephant orphanage which is only open for a short period each day from 11:00 am to 12:00. Here you will learn more about the baby elephants and what led them to be orphans. You will get more information on raising them and the efforts being made to re-introduce them back to the wilderness.

After this, you will have about an hour for lunch (at your own expense), then proceed to a visit to the giraffe center. Here you see the magnificent creatures and learn why they are endangered. you will also learn their behaviors, traits and more conservation education. To cap the visit, you get the chance to feed them and maybe get a giraffe kiss.

Later, you have an option at no extra cost to visit the famous beads factory Kobe tough if the group agrees. Here, the products made support single mothers, orphans and widows in Kenya. We work to upskill the artistic skills of these women providing them an opportunity to earn a fair wage for their art.

After, you will depart and be brought back to Kencom. End of tour
