It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

At 8 am, you will be picked up from your hotel within the city Centre/Westland area and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Arrive in the camp in time for lunch. Check in and have lunch. In the evening at 4.00pm depart for a sunset game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve where chances of seeing the big cats is extremely high ending at 6:00 pm.

Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve

Early morning breakfast at 6 am; by 6:30 am, leave for a full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five with picnic lunch in the park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.

On this day you will visit the Kenya and Tanzania Border and enjoy taking pictures. You will also stop at the Mara River, where you will have an up-close view of the hippos and crocodiles in the river. You will also enjoy a walking safari around the river with a ranger for security. We recommend tipping the ranger at least $ 5.

Day 3: Depart Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Early morning breakfast then checks out for your drive back to Nairobi. Optional visit to Maasai Village at an extra cost. On arrival you will be dropped at the city Centre/hotel within the city Centre.
